* IT - Software Engineering * Zug * Contracting * Teilzeit * As soon as possible - 01.10.2027 * Linux, CAN Bus, Rust #### **Hard Facts** #### * **Start:** ASAP, latest 1 December 2026 * **Duration:** 12 months * **Extension:** Possible * **Workload:** 100% * **Location:** Rotkreuz * **Home office:** Up to 50% * **Work model:** Hybrid * **Travel:** None #### **Tasks** #### * Develop technical concepts and conduct feasibility studies * Design, develop, review and document embedded software * Define, estimate and plan software work packages * Contribute to software architecture and quality requirements * Perform root-cause analyses and provide bug fixes * Ensure compliance with development and regulatory processes * Propose improvements to existing products and processes #### **Must-Have Qualifications** #### * Minimum **2 years of professional Rust experience** * Strong knowledge of ownership, borrowing, lifetimes, traits and error handling * Experience with asynchronous programming in Rust * Professional experience in embedded or systems-level software development * Experience with **real-time Linux, PREEMPT\_RT or a comparable RTOS** * Practical understanding of latency, jitter and task scheduling * Hands-on experience with **CAN bus communication** * Experience with Linux and embedded build/debugging tools * Degree in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent * Fluent English and strong communication skills * Willingness to work in a regulated environment and follow structured development processes #### **Nice-to-Have Qualifications** #### * Experience with **IEC 62304, ISO 13485 or IVDR** * Experience with event-driven architectures and RabbitMQ * Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design * Experience with Docker and Kubernetes in CI/build environments * Experience working in agile development teams * German language skills
