Job Description Production mechanics manufacture and process components made of metal and plastic. They also assemble individual parts into assemblies, maintain devices, apparatus, and machines. 9 months LWB (Learning Workshop Basel) Deepening of basic knowledge in the conventional areas of turning, milling, drilling, and grinding as well as manual manufacturing techniques and assembly technology Deepening of mechanical production, milling, grinding, turning, drilling, assembly, repair, and service directly at the machines Supporting the team with assemblies Mechanical processing and production of entire projects Hardening in the hardening furnace and their assembly Assistance with maintenance and repair work Programming, setting up, and operating machines Profile Interest in technical contexts and mechanics Manual dexterity A flair for mathematics and physics Good spatial imagination Aptitude for precision work Reliable, motivated, and a curious personality with good manners Enjoy working in a team and interacting with people Professional Requirements Secondary school leaving certificate level E or P (or equivalent qualification) MS Office skills Languages Good German skills in spoken and written form Contact Person Sandra Bielser HR Business Partner
