Shape the Future of Precision Medicine as Senior Scientist Biomarker Development (m/f/d) Duration: 6-month temporary assignment Location: Basel Employment type: Temporary placement For our client, a renowned pharmaceutical company based in the Basel region dedicated to developing innovative medicines that extend patients' lives, we are looking for a Senior Scientist Biomarker Development (m/f/d) for their Translational Medicine team. Your Responsibilities Lead exploratory soluble biomarker assays, covering strategy, data quality and alignment with clinical endpoints Generate and interpret biomarker data for proof of mechanism, dose selection and proof of biology Develop and validate biomarker assays, focusing on ligand binding techniques (ELISA, MSD, NULISA, Ella) and methods such as LC-MS Provide expertise for transferring and overseeing assay development and sample analysis at external partners Ensure quality and on-time delivery of data from internal and outsourced activities Your Profile Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biology, Immunology, Cell Biology or similar, plus several years of lab experience in pharma or biotech Solid expertise in ligand binding assays; LC-MS experience is a plus Strong analytical mindset, accountability and collaborative skills Confident with tools such as Excel, SoftMax Pro, GraphPad Prism and Watson LIMS Familiarity with GCLP, ICH frameworks and clear communication skills Valid Swiss work permit, EU/EFTA citizenship, or unrestricted Swiss residence/work permit required What nemensis Offers You Nemensis AG is your specialized recruitment partner in the Life Sciences sector, based in Basel Comprehensive guidance throughout the application process by our consultants Access to an extensive client network across north-western Switzerland Fast, straightforward entry through personalized support At nemensis ag, we've connected thousands of candidates with their dream job.
