Replacement English teacher (Secondary I)

Institut Florimont is a private, not-for-profit catholic day school founded in 1905. We have more than 1’700 students representing a broad diversity of nationalities and countries of origin. We offer a complete educational program from nursery through to year 13 (ages 3-18) with two language tracks (francophone and bilingual French/English) leading to a choice of three diplomas: International Baccalaureate, Swiss Maturité and French Baccalauréat. We are seeking a well-qualified, experienced and enthusiastic teacher for a fixed-term replacement position from 14 September 2026 to mid-January 2027 in secondary I education. Successful candidates will: Master's degree in English Recognised teaching qualification required for secondary education (MASE, CDIP, PGCE with QTS, CAPES...) CDIP recognition an asset Be native or fluent in English (C2) with teaching experience in English Have an intermediate level of French (B2) Experience of teaching internationally or in international schools an asset Starting date: 14 September 2026 Employment rate: approx. 63% (15 periods a week) In accordance with Swiss labor laws regarding work permits, we prioritize applications from Swiss nationals, European Union citizens, or candidates already in possession of a valid work permit.
