Application with the usual documents: Curriculum Vitae, diplomas, list of publications, list of courses taught, if applicable with proof of teaching competencies or teaching evaluations Description of completed, ongoing and future research projects One copy each of up to 3 published books Copies or extracts of up to 5 essays or articles representative of research in the field of the position Your Tasks Teaching courses in the field of canon law Research in the areas of the chair Commitment in the field of continuing education Collaboration in teaching and research within the university and beyond Engagement in the university's self-administration Communicating the topics of canon law to a broad public Desired Profile Doctorate: (canonical) doctorate in canon law or doctorate in Catholic theology on a canon law topic or doctorate in law on a canon law topic combined with a canonical licentiate in canon law A habilitation in the field of the position or equivalent scientific publications are desired Knowledge of Swiss (cantonal and federal) church-state law or willingness to familiarise oneself with it is expected Scientific publications in the field of the advertised position Preferably experience in acquiring third-party funding Good pedagogical and didactic skills and willingness for further training Willingness and ability for online teaching Ability to reflect on the theological dimension of the subject and to bring it into dialogue with other theological disciplines Ability to offer teaching equally in French and German.
