Job description
The Cantonal School Glarus comprises a long-term grammar school, a specialised middle school, as well as a sports school at the lower secondary level with a total of around 480 pupils. We are looking for a Caretaker at the Cantonal School 70–80 % from 1 September 2026 or by arrangement, based in Glarus. Tasks Carrying out general caretaking duties Responsibility for outdoor and garden work Building and furniture maintenance and performing simple repairs Technical support for public events in the auditorium Requirements Completed vocational training with proven professional experience Practical experience in caretaking, ideally in a school environment Enjoyment of varied work in a lively setting Independent, reliable working style and quick comprehension Initiative and flexibility Team spirit and service orientation Clear communication and good manners Your contact For further information, please contact Claudia Ferreira, Head of Housekeeping and Technology, Tel. 055 645 45 71.
