* Commodity trading house * Be part of a strong & supportive team ## About Our Client ## For our client, a trading house company, located in Geneva, we are currently looking for a financial accountant. ## Job Description ## * Prepare accurate financial statements in compliance with relevant accounting standards. * Manage month-end and year-end closing processes efficiently. * Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies. * Support audits by providing necessary documentation and analysis. * Monitor and report on financial performance against budgets and forecasts. * Ensure compliance with tax regulations and handle tax-related filings. * Collaborate with internal teams to improve financial processes and controls. * Provide financial insights to support decision-making within the organisation. ## The Successful Applicant ## A successful Financial Accountant should have: * A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. * Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and tax regulations. * Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. * Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. * Fluency in English, with additional language skills considered an advantage. * Audit experience is required. ## What's on Offer ## Our client offers you: * A permanent role in the commodity trading business. * Opportunities to work on diverse financial projects. * A professional environment that supports skill development.
