Job description

In this role, you are responsible for the technical support of development projects in the field of Medical Technology. The main tasks can be summarised as follows: Management and implementation of development projects from the concept phase in the laboratory to series production readiness. Development and optimisation of film products, lacquer formulations and multilayer structures. Creation and further development of inspection algorithms for automated optical quality control of films. Conducting material tests as well as developing and validating new test methods for functional and quality assessment of products. Analysis, evaluation and visualisation of experimental, measurement and production data. Continuous improvement of existing products as well as adaptation to new and changed customer requirements. Technical consulting and coordination with customers, project partners and internal departments. To accomplish these tasks, you bring: A completed degree (FH/University) in materials science, chemistry, process engineering or a comparable scientific-technical field. Several years of professional experience in an industrial development or production environment, preferably in the film or coating industry. Experience in managing and implementing development projects as well as knowledge of project management. Knowledge or further training in computer vision, image processing or data analytics is an advantage. A high level of technical understanding and interest in production processes and industrial manufacturing procedures. Strong analytical, independent and solution-oriented working style and ability to work in a team. Very good knowledge of MS Office as well as experience with data analysis and visualisation tools (e.g. Python, Excel). SAP knowledge is an advantage. Good German and English skills, both spoken and written.
