Job description
Join RUAG to shape internal AI/LLM platforms enhancing security. Collaborate in a dynamic environment with great benefits. Tasks Build and maintain an internal AI/LLM platform including compute clusters. Implement in-house LLM solutions with connectors and document retrieval. Develop data pipelines and interfaces for internal systems. Skills Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Data Science, or similar. Strong Python skills and experience with modern ML/AI frameworks. Knowledge of Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, and data pipelines. What you can achieve Building, further development and operation of an internal AI/LLM platform including compute cluster Implementation of in-house LLM solutions including connectors, tools and retrieval/document solutions Development of data pipelines, data preprocessing and interfaces to internal systems Implementation of proof of concepts (POCs), MVPs and pilot solutions in the field of AI / R&D Containerisation, deployment and automation of AI workloads Technical documentation as well as knowledge transfer within the team What you bring with you University degree (BSc/MSc) in computer science, data science or comparable Several years of professional experience in ML engineering, data engineering, software engineering or DevOps Very good Python skills as well as experience with modern ML/AI frameworks Experience with Linux, Docker, Kubernetes or comparable platforms Knowledge of LLMs, RAG, APIs, data pipelines or search technologies is an advantage Structured, independent and pragmatic working style with high implementation competence Very good German skills in spoken and written form; English skills are an advantage Military career as a senior non-commissioned officer or officer is an advantage Salary and benefits About 3000 employees of RUAG and RUAG Real Estate make a significant contribution to the security of Switzerland every day.
