In this role, you ensure the technological leadership of our optical authenticity features in the field of identification documents through innovative products and manufacturing processes. The main tasks can be summarised as follows: Development of new products and product modifications Development and optimisation of the corresponding manufacturing processes up to the handover to series production in close cooperation with production and quality assurance Participation in the early detection of technology trends and evaluation of these for opportunities, risks and feasibility Continuous product improvement/adaptation to new or changed customer requirements Technical root cause analysis in internal and external quality deviations as well as development of sustainable improvement measures To manage these tasks, you bring: A completed technical or scientific degree, ideally a Master’s or PhD in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry or comparable Professional experience in research & development as well as the ability for systematic analysis of issues and structured problem-solving Good methodological knowledge of development and innovation processes as well as ideally knowledge of methods such as Lean 6 Sigma, DFSS, experimental design etc. Openness to creative solutions with a focus on opportunities, a motivated attitude and good assertiveness Good communication skills in German and English Enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration with development, production and quality management to solve demanding technical and quality-related issues You can expect: Collaboration in a motivated and collegial team Good development and training opportunities A modern workplace in the heart of Zug A successful company with an exciting working environment We look forward to your application and are happy to provide motivated candidates with further insights into the field of activity and the corporate culture of OVD Kinegram AG.
