Skills Technical training in electronics/mechatronics with experience in SMT. Understanding of soldering processes and IPC standards is essential. Strong communication skills in German; English is a plus. Grossenbacher Systeme AG develops and manufactures sophisticated electronic assemblies and systems at the St. Gallen site for customers from industry, medical technology and other sectors. Our SMT production is the heart of assembly production – modernly equipped, quality-oriented and with a well-coordinated team. Deputy Team Leader SMD / SMT Production (m/f/d), Succession Planning As the deputy to the SMD team leader, you will share responsibility for our SMT lines from the outset. In the course of the upcoming retirement of the long-standing incumbent, you will be comprehensively introduced as part of a long-term planned succession and gradually take on additional leadership tasks – with the clear prospect of taking over the team leadership in due course. Your tasks Deputising for the SMD team leader in the daily management and organisation of the SMT lines Ensuring a smooth, timely and quality-compliant production process (placement, solder paste printing, reflow, AOI) Setting up, programming and optimising the placement machines Creating, adjusting and optimising the AOI programmes Monitoring quality and process parameters according to IPC-A-610 as well as continuous process improvement (OEE, CPH) Participating in the introduction of new products and processes (NPI) as well as in investment and procurement decisions Close cooperation with production management in planning, processes and further development of production Guiding, promoting and scheduling employees Your qualities Technical basic training in electronics / mechatronics / automation, ideally with further training (e.g. technician HF, federal specialist certificate or equivalent) Several years of experience in SMT/SMD production, preferably with Fuji placement machines Sound understanding of soldering processes, IPC standards and quality assurance in electronics manufacturing Initial leadership experience or clearly recognisable potential and the willingness to take on responsibility Independent, structured and quality-conscious working style Confident German language skills; English is an advantage Your opportunities and prospects A responsible position with genuine development prospects into team leadership Careful induction and thorough knowledge transfer by the experienced incumbent Modern, well-equipped workplace in a future-oriented Swiss family business Progressive employment conditions, training opportunities and good transport connections Have we piqued your interest?
