The Novotel Geneva Centre, a 4-star establishment nestled in the heart of Geneva, offers 206 elegant rooms, a friendly restaurant and bar, a well-equipped fitness centre and 5 rooms dedicated to conferences or seminars. Complementing this offer, the Residence provides 30 studios located just behind the Novotel. Our team, working for these two entities, thus ensures quality service and a memorable experience for our clients. Job Description Willingness and ability to work night shifts (Reception and night administrative work) Ensures guests receive a warm, efficient welcome in line with the establishment’s quality standards Performs computer and administrative procedures related to check-in/check-out on the hotel’s IT system Verifies client guarantees and reservations Ensures follow-up of guests’ stays by communicating important information to colleagues and superiors and by verifying guarantees Answers telephone calls and occasionally takes reservations Maintains, verifies and controls their personal cash register Responds to various guest requests and follows up to ensure their satisfaction Provides guests with tourist information Completes various projects assigned by management Applies procedures and policies defined by the brand and hotel regarding guest control and personal security Ensures special guest requests are passed on to the relevant departments Embodies the Heartist spirit in interactions with guests Qualifications Fluency in English and a second language according to hotel needs Service and hospitality mindset Passion for the customer IT skills (word processing and spreadsheets, OPERA) Excellent interpersonal skills, outstanding communication (internal and with guests) Ability to work effectively in a team and initiative Attention to detail Organisation and rigour Flexibility and versatility Additional Information Our commitment to diversity and inclusion: We are an inclusive company and our ambition is to attract, recruit and promote diverse talents.
