YBR Géologues SA currently employs 13 staff members in its SWISS office and the development of our structure continues, with exciting projects underway and upcoming. YBR is active in Switzerland (YBR Géologues SA), but also in France (YBR Géotechnique Environnement SAS – Paris, 9th district), with strong interaction between the different group structures. We are looking to join us in one of our Swiss branches, immediately or by agreement, a Geotechnical Engineer (70 – 100 %) PROJECT ASSISTANT LEVEL YOUR TASKS Study phases 2 to 5 according to SIA phases (equivalent to G2 to G5 of NF) Special foundations (piles, stabilisations, etc.): Design, planning, execution monitoring Retaining structures (nail walls, Berlin walls, cast walls, sheet piles, tunnels, etc.): Design, planning, execution monitoring Geotechnical referent within the framework of large regional / national / international interdisciplinary projects Support to management for the management and development of our geotechnical team Dynamic interaction with our other teams (geology, environment, hydrogeology, contaminated sites) and our other subsidiaries Active participation in business development DEEP EXPERIENCE IN THE FOLLOWING AREAS IS A CLEAR ADVANTAGE Project management experience (planning, execution monitoring, project management) in the field of special works Theoretical and site experience Workplace To be discussed (Neuchâtel and/or Lake Geneva region VD/GE – remote work obviously possible) YOUR SKILLS PROFESSIONAL Civil engineering degree (EPF, ETH, HES, Polytech, Ponts, Mines or equivalent) with specialisation in geotechnics 3-5 years of experience in a Swiss geotechnical office in the aforementioned fields Genuine passion for monitoring geotechnical site works Good report writing skills for scientific and technical reports Good knowledge of current Swiss standards and regulations (and/or Eurocodes) Proficiency in common geotechnical software: Larix, Plaxis, Rido, Talren (or equivalent) PERSONAL AND RELATED Professional command of French (written and spoken) Mindset and attitude in line with the construction site environment (adaptability, strong character) Initiative, dynamic, positive, autonomous and responsible Enthusiastic about the interdisciplinarity essential on construction sites Enthusiastic about travel (driving licence essential) Would be a great plus: Good professional network in the regional/national construction market Professional command of German (written and spoken) Knowledge of CAN We offer you A motivating position within a team of specialists working on varied assignments from international to local scale The security of an activity within an SME of 14 employees, autonomous, recognised for more than 26 years for the quality of its services A calm, modern and dynamic working atmosphere and environment Attractive salary conditions and the possibility of flexible working hours Opportunities for professional development (continuing education, taking on responsibilities, etc.) and mobility between the SWISS subsidiary and the PARIS subsidiary. _______________________ Please send your application file (CV, cover letter) to info(at)ybr.ch For any questions, please contact our secretariat at +41 32 841 49 31.
