We are currently looking on behalf of one of our clients in Basel for a Senior Oracle DBA. This is a permanent on-site position. Your role: Run and maintain the Oracle environment in production, contributing to incident handling and second-level troubleshooting Carry out change requests in accordance with the governance and operational procedures Identify performance, capacity and cost-efficiency improvements as part of the platform's life-cycle management Design and implement automation to reduce operational toil and increase reliability Take an active role in migration projects and in the ongoing modernisation of the infrastructure Conduct disaster-recovery rehearsals and participate in the on-call rotation Your profile: University-level degree in IT, engineering or an equivalent technical background A minimum of seven years' practical experience in database administration and engineering Solid command of Oracle databases, complemented by working knowledge of PostgreSQL (required) Familiarity with Ansible-based automation is appreciated Pragmatic, delivery-oriented mindset with a genuine sense of ownership Discretion, rigour and a high standard of personal accountability Comfortable working in cross-functional teams and connecting technical decisions to business outcomes Fluent English is essential; working knowledge of German is a real advantage Spécialisation Oracle & PostgreSQL Années d'expérience Junior Aperçu N° de références BK60136 Job Localisation Basel
