# XRF Application Specialist # (m/f/d) Freelance/temporary employment for a project Cheseaux sur Lausanne Start date: asap Reference number: 880276/1 ### Responsibilities ### * Provide technical support and handle WDXRF for demonstrations with customers * Manage analytical reports, interactions and follow-up * Develop and renovate WDXRF applications according to established pipeline based on market trends and opportunities, propose and develop new WDXRF applications * Establish, build and update XRF application-related sales and marketing materials, such as application notes * Respect and optimize sample management procedures and support corporate and local quality initiatives * Maintain preparation and analytical equipment according to procedures and guidelines * Observe quality hygiene and safety rules in all laboratories and demo areas ### Profile ### * Confirmed experience in WDXRF calibrations and application development * Ability to potentially support EDXRF activities * Excellent knowledge of Eurachem and ISO norms for validation of analytical methods * Excellent analytical skills with the ability to analyze data, identify trends and propose data-driven solutions * Strong communication skills in English (French language skills are beneficial) * Willingness to travel internationally up to 20% and passport/visa compatible * Engineer or Master-s degree or PhD Bachelor-s degree in Physics or Chemistry or Geology or Metallurgy or Material sciences ### Benefits ### * Renowned pharmaceutical company * Attractive salary package * HAYS Benefits
