Join the Swiss Farmers' Union as a scientific staff member! Contribute to sustainable agriculture and policy development. Tasks Collaborate on advancing agricultural policy with member organizations. Develop decision-making foundations for current political issues. Engage in research and advisory discussions with agriculture stakeholders. Skills Degree in Agronomy, Political Science, or Economics required. Fluent in French or German, with knowledge of the other language. Strong analytical skills and initiative are essential. As the Swiss Farmers' Union, we are committed daily to local farming families and sustainable food production in Switzerland. In the Department of Economy, Education & International Affairs in Bern or Brugg, we are looking from September 2026 or by arrangement for a scientific employee in agricultural economics 80% Your contribution with us: You contribute to the further development of agricultural policy and work closely with our member organisations. You develop decision-making bases for current political matters. You engage with current issues in research and advisory services and maintain exchange with actors in agricultural research. You bring the perspective of agriculture where important decisions are made: with authorities, in political processes and in exchange with relevant stakeholders. What you bring with you: Professional/university degree in agronomy, political science, economics or a comparable education. Interest in Swiss agricultural policy. Native French or German speaker with good knowledge of the other language. Analytical skills and initiative. Confident expression and enjoyment in exchange with different stakeholders.
