We are seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented **Technician** to **assemble, integrate, test and prepare for shipment our advanced opto-mechanical instruments, and to support production, maintenance, development and supply chain activities**. This role is at the heart of our manufacturing operations and product quality. You will report directly to the **Head of Operations**. **Your role and responsibilities** * Assemble, integrate and finalize opto-mechanical instruments and sub-assemblies * Prepare and install cables and connectors; configure electronic equipment * Perform in-house quality control and functionality testing before alignment and shipment * Complete production checklists, test reports and other required production documentation * Diagnose and repair electronic, electrical and mechanical issues, and support investigations on product failures, production deviations and recurring technical problems * Support the development team by preparing electronic and mechanical prototypes, and provide feedback from production to improve manufacturability, reliability and serviceability * Carry out incoming inspection of technical components, perform stock movements and pack instruments for shipping * Continuously improve production procedures and documentation **Your profile** The ideal candidate will have a **technical apprenticeship or equivalent background in electronics, automation or a similar technical field**, ideally with **2 or more years of relevant experience** in equipment assembly, troubleshooting or technical production. You are accurate, structured and quality-oriented, equally comfortable with manual work and technical procedures, and you thrive on independence balanced with strong team communication. **Required technical skills** * Good manual skills and ability to work on mechanical, optical and electronic equipment * Ability to follow technical procedures rigorously * Basic understanding of electronics, wiring, soldering, crimping and functional testing * Hands-on experience with instrument repair and troubleshooting * Basic software, firmware or programming knowledge * French spoken and written * Basic command of English; B2 level is an advantage * Driving license B is heavily recommended * Swiss/EU citizenship or valid working permit for Switzerland **Experience in one or several of the following areas is advantageous** * Basic electronic development * Operating milling machines * Working in production or service environments combining mechanical, optical and electronic systems * Working in small but high-impact teams **What we offer** * 5 weeks of vacation * An informal yet professional working environment where open discussion and exchange of ideas among all team members is actively encouraged  * Standing desk * You become part of a growing company where your contribution makes a difference, is valued, and is part of our path to further success * A company with values dedicated to uncompromising integrity, trust, respect, and teamwork Does this look like you?
