Tasks Provide comprehensive VAT advisory for medium to large clients. Assess national and cross-border tax situations in Swiss and EU VAT. Support clients during VAT audits and represent them before authorities. Skills Completed degree in law or economics; further tax education preferred. 6-8 years of experience in Swiss VAT and interest in EU regulations. The experienced Tax Partner team, consisting of around 70 employees, advises international and Swiss corporations, SMEs, as well as wealthy private individuals on all national and international tax matters. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Tax Advisor for VAT (m/f/d) Your main tasks are Comprehensive VAT advice for medium to large clients from various industries Tax assessment of national and cross-border matters from the perspective of Swiss and EU VAT Preparation of ruling requests and participation in appeal procedures VAT advice in the areas of M&A and structuring Support of clients during VAT audits and representation vis-à-vis the Swiss Federal Tax Administration (ESTV) Support in the area of general VAT compliance For this position you bring A completed degree in law or economics (university/FH) and further training in the tax field, preferably completed (MAS VAT / Certified Tax Expert or comparable qualification) 6 – 8 years of practical experience in Swiss VAT and a strong interest in the VAT system in the EU (preferably with practical experience) Strong analytical skills, entrepreneurial thinking and a high solution orientation Teamwork skills, excellent communication skills, high service orientation Fluent German and English skills (French or Italian skills are welcome but not required) We offer you a collegial and open corporate culture a flat hierarchy and short decision-making paths an attractive workplace in a central location in the city of Zurich We pass on the many years of experience of the Tax Partner team to you and offer you an ideal environment for your professional and personal development.
