Our mission: We safely power your flight. We are looking for dedicated and skilled individuals to join our shop floor across several areas and departments at Zurich-Airport. As a Supervisor Engine Shop Floor you will be responsible for the development and management of a highly effective Team of approximately 20 to 25 employees, striving for safety and quality, while delivering in time and on cost expectations. You will coordinate the team’s work with its direct stakeholders at SR Technics to the goals and missions of the organization. Your tasks - Promote a positive Safety Culture and ensure that Safety and Quality Policy are communicated/promoted and implemented within the Organization. - Lead and manage a multi-cultural team, fostering performance, engagement, and a positive work environment. - Drive performance culture through periodic target setting and regular structured follow up with all employees. Apply performance management process (PMP) and leadership with a focus on employee motivation. - Plan and allocate resources to ensure high productivity and monitor labor efficiency - Drive personnel development and skill management to meet capacity requirements (OJT, qualifications, certifications, performance evaluations). - Execute and promote Continuous Improvements in applying Lean principles and 5S to achieve the organization targets and key performance indicators (KPI). - Participate in, prepare for and be responsible for internal and external audits Your Profile - Technical background or technical education (aviation experience is a plus) - Leadership experience with strong interpersonal skills and leadership skills with the ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams. Minimum 3 years team leadership or strong project leadership preferred. - Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment and strong focus on safety, quality, and cost efficiency - Proactive, independent, and self-initiated working style with high performance drive - Knowledge and experience in applying Lean/Six Sigma methodology - Proficient in English (B2+), German is an advantage - Proficiency with maintenance documentation systems. Microsoft Office required, SAP is an advantage
