Your role at Kanadevia Inova directly contributes to turning something once considered useless - waste - into something invaluable: energy, heat, hydrogen, fertilizer, and beyond. ## Job Description ## * Lead and drive the decarbonisation R&D program as Technology Expert Decarbonisation, combining deep technical expertise with strong conceptual thinking. * Act as the principal expert for the assessment and development of the decarbonisation technology portfolio. * Contribute actively to decarbonisation R&D projects, ensuring technical excellence and innovation. * Provide technical leadership to a small team of R&D engineers, with potential for future team leadership responsibilities. * Support system-level problem solving through both high-level conceptual understanding and deep technical analysis. * Collaborate across teams and stakeholders in a dynamic and uncertain R&D environment. ## Qualifications ## * Master-s degree or PhD in a relevant engineering or scientific discipline required. * Minimum of 8+ years of relevant professional experience in engineering, R&D, or decarbonisation-related fields. * Strong expertise in decarbonisation technologies and R&D environments. * Proven ability to combine strategic/conceptual thinking with detailed technical problem solving. * Experience leading or mentoring technical engineering teams. * Hands-on experience managing or contributing to complex R&D projects. * Collaborative, self-driven, and comfortable working autonomously in uncertain environments. * Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
