* Senior Field Security Officer (M/F) * International Organization ## About Our Client ## Our client is an **international organisation based in Geneva**, operating in complex and high-risk environments worldwide. As part of its commitment to strengthening **staff safety, duty of care and operational risk management**, the organisation is seeking a **Senior Field Security Officer** to lead and structure its global security framework. ## Job Description ## Reporting to a senior leader within the administration and operations function, you will be responsible for **defining, implementing and overseeing field security strategies and frameworks** ensuring the safety of staff deployed internationally. This is a highly strategic and operational role requiring strong **crisis management, risk analysis and stakeholder engagement capabilities** in an international and multicultural environment.**Security Strategy & Framework** * Design and implement a **global field security and safety strategy**, policies and procedures * Ensure alignment with **duty of care obligations** and international best practices * Strengthen and continuously improve security frameworks across operations **Risk Management & Crisis Response** * Provide **high-level risk analysis** on country and regional security situations * Lead and coordinate **crisis and emergency responses** * Advise senior leadership on security risks, preparedness and mitigation measures **Operational Security Oversight** * Monitor compliance with security policies and ensure consistent implementation * Support and oversee **security-related planning and resource allocation** * Conduct field missions and assess security conditions in complex environments **Stakeholder Engagement** * Collaborate with international organisations, partners and security networks * Act as a **trusted advisor to senior leadership and internal stakeholders** * Coordinate with internal teams on travel risk and staff safety measures **Training & Awareness** * Design and deliver **security trainings and briefings** for staff * Develop tailored materials for different audiences and risk levels * Promote a strong organisational culture around **safety and risk awareness** ## The Successful Applicant ## * Extensive experience in **security management within international and/or high-risk environments** * Background in **international organisations, development sector, military or law enforcement** * Proven expertise in **risk analysis, crisis management and security frameworks** * Strong experience engaging with **senior leadership and advising on strategic decisions** * Experience operating in **complex, multicultural and matrix organisations** * Excellent analytical, decision-making and communication skills * Ability to operate under pressure and in sensitive environments * **Fluent English and French required** ## What's on Offer ## * Strategic leadership role within a **globally recognised organisation** * High exposure to senior stakeholders and international operations * Opportunity to shape and lead **global security and risk frameworks** * **Geneva-based position** Quote job ref JN-062026-7036849 Job Function Consultancy, Strategy & Change Specialisation Corporate Industry Not For Profit Location Geneva Contract Type Interim Job Reference JN-062026-7036849
