As the premier supplier to our client, a leading commodities company based in Switzerland, Swisslinx is looking for a Senior Business Analyst Job description: As the premier supplier to our client, a leading commodities company based in Switzerland, Swisslinx is looking for a highly motivated individuals to take on a challenging role as an Senior Business Analyst for a 12-month contract, extension highly likely, onsite 5 days a week. Our client is looking for a candidate that would be a self-starter and be able to take ownership of topics and drive them to completion to help with a new marketing platform. Key responsibilities: Analysis, planning and support of implementations for our main trading system Closely working with traders, asset, and traffic managers to understand change requirements Regular communication on existing and future requirements to relevant stakeholders Further improvement and maintenance of product documentation for support staff and end users Collaborating with Project Managers, 2nd, and 3rd level support as well as development Applying our change management process, involving testing in UAT and pre-production environments Requirements: Your background: Education on degree level (or equivalent) with at least 5 years of working experience in a similar trading or financial environment Good knowledge of Business analysis methodologies (certification is a bonus, e.g. IIBA) • Excellent language skills - a high English standard is a must, German is a strong advantage Strong interpersonal skills to communicate and negotiate with all levels of the business and IT Delivery and customer focused: efficiently delivering quality, hitting tight deadlines while remaining within system and data architecture principles Open and transparent communicator; able to report the bad news too Self-driven and proud to take ownership Onsite 5 day a week is a must If you possess the above attributes, are available to start a new position immediately and looking for a new challenge in an international environment, we look forward to receiving your application!
