About the job Administration Medical Secretary for the Paediatric Neurology Unit The Woman-Mother-Child Department is looking, from 1 September 2026 or for a date to be agreed, for its Paediatric Neurology Unit, for a 60% medical secretary to complete its administrative team. Context The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the 5 Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, the CHUV plays a leading role in the fields of medical care, medical research and training. Within the Woman-Mother-Child Department, the Paediatrics Service offers comprehensive and multidisciplinary care for children aged 0 to 18 years. It maintains close links with other services in the department such as neonatology, paediatric surgery, adolescent medicine and gynaecology and obstetrics. Mission You ensure the production and flow of medical documents and information internally and externally You efficiently manage the organisation of the Unit's consultation You provide administrative support to the Unit You contribute to the quality, development and improvement of the Unit's services. Profile You hold a commercial CFC and/or a medical secretary diploma or an equivalent recognised qualification You have at least 5 years of experience in the medical field You have a perfect command of French spelling and a good knowledge of medical terminology You have good analytical and synthesis skills and a sense of organisation and priorities that allow you to follow and manage several files simultaneously You see yourself as a flexible, attentive, discreet, autonomous person with a spirit of mutual support You have the ability to cope with a sustained activity and to work in a multidisciplinary team You are comfortable with MS Office software and, ideally, with the CHUV's IT tools.
