Let’s shape the future of wealth management together. The SAP BW/4HANA Business Analyst plays a key role in driving efficiency and innovation across financial operations at Julius Baer. This position bridges business needs and technology solutions through rigorous analysis, collaboration, and solution delivery. The business analyst ensures that system enhancements and new initiatives align with business goals, regulatory standards, and enterprise architecture principles. IHRE AUFGABEN Business Requirements Gathering: Elicit, analyse, document, and validate business requirements from stakeholders, including process owners, end-users, and senior management Financial Systems Analysis: Analyse existing financial systems, processes, and data to identify areas for improvement, optimise workflows, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements Data Modelling: Data modelling principles and practices, including conceptual, logical, and physical data model design Solution Development: Collaborate with IT teams to design, implement, and test solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and stakeholder expectations Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes, eliminate inefficiencies, and improve overall productivity Stakeholder Management: Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including technical and non-technical audiences, to ensure understanding and buy-in of proposed solutions Data Analysis: Collect, analyse, and interpret large datasets to inform business decisions, identify trends, and measure performance metrics Documentation and Reporting: Develop and maintain accurate documentation, including business cases, use cases, user stories, and reports, to support project delivery and ongoing operations Testing and Quality Assurance: Participate in testing and quality assurance activities to ensure solutions meet business requirements and are free from defects Change Management: Support organisational change by communicating changes to stakeholders, providing training and guidance as needed YOUR PROFILE Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, or a related field Completed required trainings and certifications/exams: SAP BW/4HANA, SAP S/4HANA Familiarity with enterprise data architectures and the ability to translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and compliant data structures Experience as a business analyst in the finance industry, preferably in investment banking, asset management, or a similar sector Strong understanding of financial concepts, instruments, and markets Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Experience with SAP BW/4HANA and financial systems such as accounting software (SAP S/4HANA), trading platforms, or risk management tools Experience with agile methodologies (Jira/Confluence experience) and iterative development approaches Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team Strong problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to think critically Fluent in English; German is a plus We are looking forward to receiving your full job application through our online application tool.
