Join the Mandatszentrum Uri as a Sachbearbeiter*in. Support children and adults needing assistance. Tasks Manage client administration and payment processes with guardians. Handle correspondence with insurance and institutions independently. Prepare reports and applications for third-party requests. Skills Commercial education or equivalent; relevant work experience preferred. Strong knowledge of social insurance law and accounting. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Main content Clerk (80 - 100 %) The Mandate Centre Uri carries out mandates of child and adult protection on behalf of the Child and Adult Protection Authority and thus ensures the protection of children and adults who are no longer able to request support themselves. The clerical team is the back office for the guardians. It supports and relieves them in managing mandates and is therefore central to professional and efficient mandate management. As a complement to our team, we are looking for a clerk from 1 August 2026 or by arrangement. General information Workload 80 - 100 % Start date 1 August 2026 or by arrangement Employer Mandate Centre Department Type Job offer Tasks Client administration and payment transactions in cooperation with the responsible guardian Independent handling of correspondence with insurance companies, health insurers, institutions, etc. Conducting clarifications on behalf of the responsible guardian Preparation of applications and requests to third parties Preparation of accountability reports of the guardians to the Child and Adult Protection Authority Preparation of tax returns for persons under guardianship Telephone and counter service as well as mail processing Handling general organisational tasks If applicable, supervision of apprentices as a practical trainer Support of the Competence Centre for Private Guardians; taking over training modules if interested and suitable Expectations Commercial vocational training or equivalent Several years of professional experience, preferably in public administration Good knowledge of social security law and accounting; corresponding further training in this area or willingness to undertake it High resilience, flexibility and quick comprehension Confidence in dealing with people in difficult life situations Very good oral and written communication skills Humorous and resilient personality with service- and team-oriented thinking Very good MS 365 user skills; experience with electronic business management systems (KLIBnet, CMI) desired We offer Procedure For further information, please contact Doris Ackermann, Head of the Mandate Centre Department, telephone +41 41 875 2166 or doris.ackermann@ur.ch.
