Join the City of St. Gallen as a health insurance control officer. This role offers a vibrant work environment and meaningful community impact. Tasks Ensure compliance with health insurance obligations and regulations. Provide expert advice to residents on mandatory health insurance. Work collaboratively and independently in a multicultural setting. Skills Commercial training, preferably in public administration required. Strong communication skills in English; other languages a plus. Ability to work meticulously and handle high-pressure situations. Your new role In this position, you manage the affairs of the Health Insurance Control Office and ensure the enforcement of the statutory obligation. You monitor compliance with the insurance requirement according to the Health Insurance Act. In addition, you competently advise residents on all matters concerning compulsory health insurance. This position is for you if you have a commercial education, ideally in public administration. have professional experience in a municipal or city administration. approach people in a multicultural environment with empathy and your full personality. find needs-based solutions for the residents of our city within the framework of the legal mandate. work carefully and precisely. enjoy advising, can communicate confidently in English and bring additional languages. like working in a team, take responsibility independently and remain committed even during times of high workload.
