The Liaison Psychiatry Service (PLI) meets the psychiatric care needs of patients hospitalised at the CHUV as well as the population of the Lausanne region. It brings together several complementary units, including a psychiatric emergency reception unit, a specialised liaison psychiatry unit, the gender/transgender dysphoria consultation, as well as the Vaud anorexia bulimia centre (abC), active at the Lausanne and Saint-Loup sites. The service also manages the Vaud Psychological Unit (CPV), strengthening its role in crisis management and mental health intervention at the cantonal level. Mission You lead and coordinate a team of five social workers working within the liaison psychiatry services of the Central psychiatric sector You supervise, support, and develop the skills of your team while fostering a collaborative working environment You organise activities, manage human resources, and ensure the quality of social services You harmonise and develop professional practices in accordance with institutional standards You provide support in complex situations and contribute to service projects You represent the unit to internal and external partners You develop and maintain collaborations with partners in the medico-social, legal, and community networks You promote continuity of care between different care services and the living environment You maintain a significant clinical activity to retain an in-depth knowledge of field realities You conduct social assessments, support complex situations, and coordinate housing, discharge, and integration projects You support patients, their relatives, and teams in social, administrative, and legal procedures.
