The QA team member is responsible for verifying that our applications, tests, and documentation meet rigorous quality standards. This role ensures that each deliverable is reliable, compliant, and deployment-ready by performing both manual and automated testing, managing test environments, and ensuring continuous quality improvements. The QA team member acts as a key contributor to maintaining high-quality products and supporting ongoing compliance efforts. The QA Team member is the interface between the development teamand others internal requesters. Key Responsibilities Testing & Validation: Conduct manual and automated tests on applications to validate functionality and performance Develop and maintain test cases, scripts, and test data Manage test coverage over requirements review Automation: Develop and maintain automation test Monitor automation test results Compliance & Process Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing methodologies Documentation & Reporting: Document test plans, test cases, defect reports, and documentation Produce quality metrics and reports, and communicate testing results effectively Defect Triage & Root Cause Analysis: Analyze defects, prioritize resolutions, and perform RCA to identify underlying causes and prevent recurrence Training & Awareness: Promote testing best practices and quality awareness within the team and wider organization Personal Attributes Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with various stakeholders. Active listening skills to understand the needs of requesters. Ability to work in a team and promote collaboration. Awareness of conflict management and problem-solving skills. Highly meticulous with strong analytical skills Qualifications / Competencies Functional expertise in the managed applications. Ability to collaborate with development teams and stakeholders. Competence in writing clear and understandable documents for teams. Maintains current specialist knowledge and expands existing knowledge through regular training and development as required by the position.
