The Liaison Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Unit at CHUV cares for children, women, mothers and their families supported by the Woman–Mother–Child Department (DFME). Its mission is to provide psychological care to children hospitalised in paediatric and paediatric surgery departments, also supporting their families, in close collaboration with the medical and nursing teams of these departments. It has developed specific hospital-ambulatory care models with various specialised consultations in paediatrics and paediatric surgery (paediatric oncology, functional disorders, metabolic diseases, perinatal medicine, medical genetics, for example).
