Join us as a Project Manager in road construction at St.Gallen! This role offers a chance to shape public spaces and enhance community life. Tasks Lead diverse road construction projects from concept to completion. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders in project execution. Communicate effectively with the public and organize participatory events. Skills Degree in civil engineering or related field with project management experience. Strong communication and social skills for team collaboration. Proficient in digital tools for efficient project management. Your new role As a project manager for road construction, you will take on a responsible role in the further development of public spaces and the design of an attractive living environment in the city of St. Gallen. You plan, develop and lead diverse road construction projects, from the restoration of existing road facilities to the implementation of shared spaces and other measures to enhance the urban environment. You accompany your projects from the initial idea through planning and political decision-making to realisation. In doing so, you coordinate collaboration with internal and external specialist departments, utilities, planning offices and other project participants. In the development of projects, you lead and support a small team of draughtspersons in a professional capacity. You prepare reports and applications for political decision-making processes and represent your projects to various stakeholders. Another important aspect is communication with the public. You organise and accompany public consultations, thereby contributing to transparent and constructive project development. This position is for you if You have a completed technical education as a civil engineer ETH/FH/HTL or a comparable qualification as well as experience in project management of construction projects. You enjoy designing sustainable and high-quality public spaces. You are a committed and solution-oriented personality with strong communication skills and social competence. You enjoy value-based teamwork as well as exchange with expert committees, departments and the public. You are confident in using common digital work tools.
