In the role of Process Engineer for BiMOS Backend, you will contribute to the advancement of our automated power module production. You’ll have the opportunity to improve existing manufacturing processes and lead innovative development projects, with a particular focus on automated chip assembly and soldering. How you’ll make an impact Improve the capability of chip attach processes through the application of statistical methods and design of experiments Analyse production data to enhance process performance, identify long-term trends, and support the prevention of potential failures Lead the optimization of automated production systems to improve manufacturing capacity, stability, and quality Support troubleshooting and root cause analysis activities to sustain and improve production throughput Contribute to new product development by shaping production processes and supporting the successful transition to volume manufacturing Your background A master’s degree in industrial, mechanical, electrical, or chemical engineering, or a related field Several years of experience in an automated production environment Solid machine-vision and automated inspection skills, as well as experience in Pick and Place processes Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, a quality-focused mindset, and a proactive, hands-on approach Familiarity with DoE, data analysis, Six Sigma methodologies, and production statistics is a plus Proficiency in both German and English More about us Our flexible working practices help you optimize personal and business performance while creating an environment where all employees can develop their skills and grow.
