About the job from 1 August 2026 PH Zurich actively shapes education, school and teaching of today and tomorrow in teaching and research. Practical vocational training is a core element of the training in the Secondary Level I department and aims at a strong link between theoretical knowledge and situated practical experience. From the first weeks of study, students gain insights into the professional everyday life at primary schools in the canton of Zurich and take on increasing responsibility in the design of lessons during their studies. PH Zurich and the school field pursue a common goal. They want to train teachers who perform well in the complex system "school". Lateral leadership of a team of practice teachers at the cooperation school including quality development and assurance Acquisition, organisation and administration of practice placements as well as budget management Communication and coordination between the cooperation school and PH Zurich Building and maintaining a network with university representatives, school management and school authorities as well as the practice teachers at the own cooperation school Co-design of practical vocational training at the cooperation school (exchange, further training, quality assurance) as an expert for school practice, together with mentors Participation in and organisation of events at the cooperation school and at PH Zurich This is what you bring with you.
