Join the Naturwissenschaftliche Institut as a Physiklaborant/in 90%! Support an engaging learning environment for over 2000 students. Tasks Prepare and set up physics experiments for teachers' lessons. Maintain an extensive collection of experiments and their documentation. Collaborate on optimizing and developing new experiments. Skills Completed training as a Physiklaborant/in EFZ or similar education. Open and communicative personality with a reliable work ethic. Team player with a high degree of flexibility and responsibility. Physics Laboratory Technician 90% The Natural Science Institute of the three Rämibühl Cantonal Schools is jointly operated by the Realgymnasium, the Literary Gymnasium, and the Mathematical Natural Science Gymnasium. It is attended by over 2000 pupils. The attractive school complex is centrally located near the Zurich universities amidst the green Rämibühl Park. From summer 2027, the school operations will continue for four years on the Irchel Campus. As of 1 October 2026 or by arrangement, a position as a Physics Laboratory Technician 90% is to be filled to support the physics institute. Your tasks - Preparation and setup of physical experiments for lessons on behalf of the teachers - Maintenance of an extensive collection of experiments including documentation in our database and repair of components - Contribution of expertise in the further development and optimisation of experiments as well as in the development of new experiments - Maintenance and operation of equipment in the well-equipped workshop with traditional machines and modern manufacturing facilities - Together with a second physics laboratory technician, you coordinate the tasks that arise, independently clarify the need for replacement and consumable materials, and organise their procurement Your profile - Completed training as a Physics Laboratory Technician EFZ or alternative basic training, for example as a polymechanic - Open, communicative personality with careful and reliable working methods - Enjoyment of teamwork as well as working independently - High degree of flexibility and personal responsibility in a versatile and lively environment Our offer - An exciting, responsible, and very varied role in a motivated team with daily contact with interesting and demanding personalities - A varied working day in a meaningful environment with modern infrastructure - Contemporary employment conditions according to cantonal guidelines Application Have we aroused your interest?
