## Your tasks ## The muon electric dipole moment experiment, muEDM at PSI, is searching for a signal of CP-violation beyond the Standard-Model. Together with the international collaboration you will:  * Take first data on storage, spin precession, and frozen-spin state of muons  * Participate in data analysis and work on dedicated aspects related to the magnetic field of the storage trap  * Further characterizing the magnetic field of the storage trap using dedicated sensors and particle detectors  * Contribute to a better understanding of systematic effects and help to improve experimental sensitivity ## Your profile ## * Master-s degree in physics with strong interest in low energy particle physics  * Knowledge of computational numerical methods, i.e. Monte Carlo simulations, Python for data analysis, finite element methods, etc.  * Practical experience in experimental techniques is appreciated (e.g. electronics, detectors, DAQ)  * Ability to work independently  * Proficient level of English as working language in spoken and written form is mandatory  * Knowledge of German or willingness to quickly learn German is a plus ## We offer ## Our institution is based on an interdisciplinary, innovative and dynamic collaboration.
