A central pillar of this programme is the Sunrise Buying Desk - a two-location, tiered support model designed to deliver consistent, expert P2P service across every business unit. As P2P Desk Manager, you lead the Zurich function. You are not a transaction processor - you are the operational authority who resolves what automated and first-line support cannot, closes systemic gaps and raises the bar for P2P performance across Sunrise. YOUR CHALLENGE: Own the Outcome Be the expert who resolves what standard process can't - across PR/PO queries, invoice issues, vendor cases and time-critical escalations. Coordinate directly with Finance, Procurement and Business where needed, maintain full stakeholder visibility and close every case compliantly within SLA Set the Quality Bar Validate purchase requisitions end-to-end - contract alignment, commodity classification, policy compliance, approval routing - and drive clean PO conversion. Apply the same rigour to vendor onboarding: validate the business case, ensure correct Ariba setup and direct all spend to the right buying channel, including SG&A and Consultancy via Consulting Requisitions (ConReq) Fix It for Good Don't just resolve today's issue, identify the pattern behind it. Translate recurring P2P problems into structured improvement initiatives that feed directly into the P2P Improvement Programme and make the process permanently better Build Capability, Not Dependency Maintain accurate master data (pricing, catalogues, payment terms, commodity codes) as the foundation for friction-free purchasing and invoice processing. Train and coach business units on the Spend Policy, so they do it right the first time, every time. Champion catalogues, contracts and Purchase Orders to drive compliant buying behaviour at source Measure What Matters Track operational KPIs (STIP - Straight-Through-Invoice-Processing, Invoice compliance, Purchase Order compliance, Vendor onboarding time), report non-compliance trends and flag Category Strategy deviations to the responsible Category Manager - turning data into accountability YOUR SKILLS: Minimum 5 years of hands-on procurement or P2P operations experience in a mid-to-large enterprise, with a track record of managing complex, high-volume transactional environments Proficient in SAP S/4HANA; working knowledge of SAP Ariba (Buying, Sourcing or Contracts modules) is a strong advantage Solid grasp of end-to-end P2P processes, purchase policy frameworks, escalation management and vendor onboarding - including the ability to distinguish what needs to be resolved vs. what needs to be redesigned Analytical mindset: you read case data, identify patterns and translate operational KPIs into concrete improvement actions Skilled communicator who can de-escalate urgent situations, influence behaviour without formal authority and engage confidently with senior stakeholders Professional procurement/ IT certification is an advantage Fluent English and strong German language skills, both written and spoken At Sunrise, you-ll be working in a dynamic and multinational environment where every voice is heard, perspectives are shared and values are lived.
