About the job We are one of four centres in the canton of Zurich with a nursing home doctor system that allows for more intensive care of medically complex nursing cases in the home. We are the contact point for general practitioners and other homes in the area as well as for our main referrers, Bülach Hospital and KSW, for further care after a hospital stay. The treatment spectrum covers all areas of geriatric-internal medicine, from simple to highly complex cases. You can gain experience in the care of nursing home residents and in leadership for your curriculum. Your time with us can be credited towards the Geriatrics specialisation or General Internal Medicine. We are a Category B training centre for the Geriatrics specialisation and place great importance on the training of doctors. It primarily offers older, care-dependent people a home and, in addition to various specialised services, a wide range of outpatient services. The KZU employs around 600 staff, including 75 apprentices and students in 17 different professional groups.
