The Heilpädagogische Zentrum Hagendorn specializes in education and care for children and youth with cognitive and/or multiple disabilities. This is a great opportunity in a supportive work environment. Tasks Provide holistic care for children with disabilities and autism. Monitor and support children’s educational planning and needs. Administer medications and ensure thorough documentation. Skills You need a completed nursing qualification (HF) and experience. Ability to handle complex care situations and challenges. The Heilpädagogische Zentrum Hagendorn specialises in the education and care of children and young people with cognitive and/or multiple impairments. For our night duty team, we are looking for you as a qualified nurse (HF) immediately or by arrangement. The position is limited to 6 months – with the option of extension. Your Tasks Comprehensive care, support and safeguarding of children and young people with intellectual and/or multiple disabilities as well as autism spectrum disorders and psychological impairments Monitoring and caring for children and young people, incorporating their educational planning Administering medication as prescribed Maintaining documentation and providing oral & written reports to ensure a smooth transition between night and day shifts Responsible in emergency situations and fire alarms during the night Participation in team meetings and internal training Your Profile Completed training as a qualified nurse (HF) Experience in supporting children and young people with cognitive impairments Enjoyment in dealing with complex care tasks, challenges and crises Skilled in responding to emergency situations Motivation and experience in night work Resilient, innovative personality as well as a healthy sense of humour We Offer Space to contribute and help shape your own ideas Interdisciplinary team and collegial cooperation on an equal footing Work-life balance, family-friendly company Contact If you enjoy working with children and young people who require additional support, then take on this versatile role.
