Support individuals facing social exclusion challenges. Facilitate low-threshold sociocultural projects. Skills Degree in social work or similar qualification required. Wädenswil is an attractive town on the left shore of Lake Zurich with just over 26,000 inhabitants. Around 380 employees work in the town administration, providing comprehensive services to the population on a daily basis. The Socio-Culture office is part of the Society Department of the town of Wädenswil. Its goal is to ensure that residents participate in social processes and can lead an independent and responsible life. For a fixed term of one year, we are looking from 1 July 2026 or by arrangement for a fixed until 30 June 2027 Your areas of responsibility include Outreach social work in public spaces Advice and support for people affected by social exclusion Contact point for adults in challenging life situations Mediation in conflicts Planning and implementation of low-threshold socio-cultural offers and projects Networking and public relations work Interdisciplinary cooperation with specialist agencies and authorities Participation in the further development of outreach social work Close cooperation with the team of the Socio-Culture office What you bring Completed training in social work (FH/HF) or comparable qualification Competence in advising people affected by social exclusion Interest in topics such as addiction, migration, violence and/or mental health Communication skills in dealing with different stakeholder groups Knowledge of the social and health system as well as the corresponding support services Independence, flexibility and ability to work in a team Willingness to work regular evening and weekend shifts We offer you a responsible and varied activity in a motivated team as well as a conveniently located workplace in the beautiful centre of Wädenswil, just a few minutes' walk from the station/lake.
