we are seeking a Middle Office Securities Specialist to join its Middle Office Securities team. Working within a small team, you will support the department head in overseeing all securities-related activities and serve as a key contact for operational matters both internally and with external service providers. Description Key Responsibilities Act as deputy to the Head of Department Supervise and support two team members Oversee and control securities operations Execute, book, and monitor fund transactions (including mutual funds, alternative funds, real estate funds, and private equity) Instruct and monitor corporate actions for non-listed securities Calculate, review, and validate securities valuations Perform reconciliations of securities positions Act as first point of contact for AML/KYC-related requests Liaise with counterparties, custodians, and external providers Identify process improvement opportunities and implement efficiency enhancements Serve as a key contact for Front Office operational queries and ensure timely resolution Support project initiatives, including requirements gathering and in-depth analysis Develop, maintain, and improve operational procedures Profile Profile Minimum 5 years of experience in the Swiss banking sector, ideally with exposure to international environments in middle or back office roles University degree or completed Swiss apprenticeship Demonstrated leadership and team management skills Solid understanding of banking operations and processes Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and interest in reconciliations Advanced Excel skills; VBA knowledge is an advantage Experience managing Front Office requests under time constraints Knowledge of banking systems (e.g., securities platforms) is a plus; S2i as well Self-motivated with the ability to perform under pressure and manage multiple deadlines Strong organizational and prioritization skills Team-oriented with excellent communication abilities and stakeholder management skills Fluent in English and French; additional languages are an asset Swiss residency mandatory Personal Attributes Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills Proactive, "can-do" attitude Willingness to work in a small team environment with opportunities to broaden expertise and operational knowledge Job Offer .
