## job description ## We are looking for a new team member in the role as # **Manufacturing Engineer (m/f/d)- 100%** # **Location**:  Mezzovico (TI), Switzerland **Type of Contract**: permanent employment **Start date:** in alignment with the candidate-s availabilities ## ## ## **YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES** ## * Manage and maintain manufacturing master data within SAP and MES systems, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and compliance * Support and improve MES (Manufacturing Execution System) processes, contributing to digitalization and Industry 4.0 initiatives * Create, update, and maintain MPI (Manufacturing Process Information) and MPD (Manufacturing Process Data) to ensure standardized and controlled production processes * Contribute to PRM (Process Risk Management) activities, including pFMEA development, updates, and risk mitigation actions * Support management of Non-Conformances (NC) and CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions), including root cause analysis and implementation of corrective measures * Analyze manufacturing and quality data to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for improvement * Perform and support engineering studies to analyze and optimize manufacturing processes, including process flow analysis, time studies, capacity evaluation, and identification of improvement opportunities * Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, productivity, and cost reduction using Lean and structured problem-solving methodologies * Provide daily engineering support for production, including troubleshooting of process and data-related issues * Support process validation activities (IQ/OQ/PQ) and ensure proper documentation * Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Production, Quality, Maintenance, IT) to ensure robust and compliant manufacturing processes * Support new product introduction (NPI), process transfers, and system/data setup * Ensure compliance with internal standards, GMP, GDP, and applicable regulations (e.g., ISO 13485, FDA) ## **YOUR BACKGROUND** ## * Bachelor-s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Automation, Electrical or related field) * 1-3 years of experience in manufacturing, engineering, or a regulated environment (medical device/pharma preferred) * Experience or strong interest in master data management (SAP/MES environment) * Familiarity with MPI/MPD, NC/CAPA processes, and pFMEA (risk management) * Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and quality systems * Certification in Lean Six Sigma / proven experience is a plus * Experience with ERP (e.g., SAP) and/or MES systems is a strong advantage * Fluent in Italian and English; German is a plus ## **YOU ARE REPORTING TO** ## Process Engineering Supervisor   ## **OUR OFFER** ## * A responsible and varied job in a global company with a strong local presence * Progressive employment conditions with long-term perspective * A high level of personal responsibility and independent work * A safe space for creative thinking and learning at the workplace * Bonus system, extra vacation days and many other benefits Find out more about JABIL Switzerland. ## **We are looking forward to receiving your complete application documents online!
