Internationally, UPSA is present in more than 60 countries, mainly in Europe, French-speaking Africa and Asia. https://www.upsa.com Purpose/Objective of the job In charge of supporting the day to day administrative and regulatory affairs in the local office in Zug, working closely with the RA manager and the team; acting as a point of contact for both internal as well as external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities and Major Duties • Participate for ensuring that a company's products comply with the Swiss regulations (Pharma and Phyto pharma products and food supplements). • In-depth knowledge of national and international legislation guidelines and requirements. • Participate to the response to queries from the health authorities (HA). • Collect and participate to the evaluation of scientific data from various sources. • Participate at the RA activities (variation, new marketing authorization submission, products registration to the different platform). • Take part in the development of marketing concepts and packaging and advertising before a product's release. Degree/Certification/Licensure • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline. • Scientific background Experience • 1 previous experience (internship) in pharmaceutical or food industries in a similar position. Competencies – knowledge, skills, abilities, other • an understanding of both legal and scientific matters • the ability to take in complex technical information and make sense of it • the ability to grasp new concepts quickly and to assimilate and evaluate scientific data • analytical and problem-solving skills • written and oral communication skills • attention to detail • strong negotiation skills • IT skills and affine, particularly in relation to using databases • the ability to work under pressure and to meet strict deadlines • teamplayer • good time management • integrity and a professional approach to work. Languages Very good German and English language knowledge (written and spoken)
