You will have 1 day of remote working per week. ## Job Description ## * Gather business requirements and identify opportunities for business intelligence and automation across finance functions (Accounts Payable, Treasury, Financial Planning, and Internal Controls) * Design, optimize, and maintain existing solutions (BI and automation), ensuring seamless integration within the organization's ecosystem and compliance with relevant requirements * Define and enforce best practices for data management, solution development, and secure deployment * Develop comprehensive documentation to support the sustainability of business processes and data analysis/automation initiatives * Translate complex data insights into clear, actionable solutions * Leverage and implement the latest technologies and tools in collaboration with finance, data, and IT teams * Present deliverables and actively contribute to knowledge-sharing sessions within broader internal communities * Support and mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement ## The Successful Applicant ## Education, Experience and Core Competencies * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field * Relevant professional experience in a similar role, including at least 5 years in transformation or change-driven environments, ideally within finance and international/matrix organizations * Proven track record of delivering end-to-end projects with measurable business impact through data analysis and automation * Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, SAP Analytics Cloud, or Looker * Hands-on expertise in data modeling, data transformation, and data cleansing (e.g., SQL, Power Query), as well as familiarity with programming concepts and algorithms * Practical experience with automation tools such as Power Automate and/or UiPath * Exposure to data management platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and/or Microsoft SQL Server is considered an asset * Prior experience in finance within an industrial or manufacturing environment is a plus * Fluent in English Personal, Methodological and Interpersonal Skills * Strong ability to collect, structure, and analyze large volumes of complex data * Pragmatic and solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies * Excellent communication and presentation skills * Collaborative team player, comfortable interacting with stakeholders at all levels of the organization ## What's on Offer ## Attractive environment Permanent position directly employed by the client Quote job ref JN-062026-7034836 Job Function Information Technology Specialisation IT Data Analysis Industry Industrial / Manufacturing Location Fribourg Contract Type Permanent Job Reference JN-062026-7034836
