In doing so, you combine operational leadership, technical expertise, and project management skills. # IT Manager (w/m) # #### Get to know the special spirit of Baur au Lac and become a member of our team. #### ## That's why you love this work: ## ### **IT Operations (focus on hotel operations)** ### * Overall responsibility for a stable and smooth IT operation at Baur au Lac * Ensuring the availability of business-critical systems * Prioritization and management of incidents and escalations * Ensuring service-oriented IT support for guests and employees, with a direct contribution to the guest experience * Continuous optimization of operational and support processes ### **Baur au Lac Vins** ### * Ensuring stable and smooth IT operations * Handling and prioritization of IT requirements * Coordination with responsible stakeholders ### **Leadership & Organization** ### * Leadership of the IT team (System Engineers, Application & Workplace, Support) * Further development of employees and establishment of clear roles and responsibilities * Ensuring clear prioritization and work organization * Translating business requirements into practical IT solutions ### **Projects & Systems** ### * Planning and implementation of IT projects (PMS, workplace, infrastructure) * Coordination of internal and external partners * Ensuring structured system deployment and handover to operations * Operation of central systems and platforms (infrastructure, M365, applications) * Support of hospitality and business systems (PMS, POS, ERP) * Implementation of operational IT security measures in coordination with management ### **Additional** ### * Support in resolving complex incidents and critical situations * Assisting the team with challenging tasks * Participation in on-call and standby duty ## That's why this job is right for you: ## ### **Your Profile** ### * Completed IT training or a solid career change with experience in a hospitality environment **Ideally, you bring:** * Several years of experience in IT operations within a service-oriented environment * Good knowledge of infrastructure, Microsoft 365, networking, and IT security * Experience in IT projects as well as initial leadership experience * Understanding of hospitality systems and operational processes * A structured, solution-oriented working style and strong service mindset * Understanding of ITIL (Incident / Problem / Change management) * Clear communication skills and an enjoyment of precise documentation * Very good German and English language skills ### **What to Expect** ### * Structured handover as part of an internal role transition * Clear organizational positioning within the infrastructure department * A responsible role in the operational IT environment of a leading luxury hotel * Additional responsibility for IT at Baur au Lac Vins * Opportunity to shape and further develop our IT services * A motivated team with clearly defined roles * Modern workplace and excellent social benefits * 100% workload (full-time position)
