The Client Coverage & Advisory team in Geneva serves as a centre of excellence for investment advisory, supporting Relationship Managers across Julius Baer’s international network. As part of the broader Global Products & Solutions unit, the team delivers sophisticated, customised investment solutions aligned with the bank’s philosophy of personalized wealth management. YOUR CHALLENGE Develop and manage a portfolio of clients within an investment advisory mandate. Act as a trusted investment advisor, delivering holistic advice across all major asset classes / investment securities, and executing transactions. 1. Strategic Investment Advisory & Portfolio Analysis Proactively integrate Julius Baer’s investment strategy and comprehensive investment platform into client portfolios and recommendations Originate and deliver tailored investment proposals, incorporating comprehensive portfolio analysis, aligned with clients' financial goals, risk tolerance, and long-term objectives Stay continuously updated on global market developments, investment themes, product innovations, and relevant regulatory changes affecting cross-border wealth management 2. Client Engagement & Presentation Excellence Play a pivotal role in client and prospect engagements, designing and delivering high-impact, insight-driven presentations featuring market commentary, thematic ideas, and targeted opportunity assessments tailored to individual client profiles Collaborate closely with Relationship Managers (RMs) to co-develop bespoke investment strategies that reflect each client’s financial aims, risk appetite, and cultural background Jointly lead client meetings and advisory sessions, ensuring consistent delivery of premium advisory services 3. Trade Execution & Transactional Ownership End-to-end processing of trade transactions, including initiation, validation, and post-trade confirmation Uphold strict adherence to internal governance standards, and regulatory obligations (including FIDLEG & MiFID II appropriateness assessments and suitability checks) YOUR PROFILE 5 – 10 years minimum of relevant professional experience in investment advisory is a must have, in private banking, or a similar financial services environment Client-focused approach with a commitment to delivering high-quality service. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation abilities with proven and successful client facing experience Master’s degree in Banking, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline. CFA Charterholder (or equivalent) or being enrolled to one of the CFA Exams is considered an advantage Specialized knowledge in a key asset class is considered a plus CWMA Holder preferred Full professional fluency in English and French is essential, and additional language skills are considered highly useful Entrepreneurial mindset, proactive, self-driven, and able to act independently Methodical, detail-oriented, and resilient under pressure, capable of meeting tight deadlines without compromising precision For this role, permanently based in Geneva (CH), eligibility to work in the country of application and to travel within Switzerland We are looking forward to receiving your full job application through our online application tool.
