Job Description Your mission is to conduct individual consultations (blood tests and diagnostic tests, treatment, organisation of follow-ups) for patients with endocrine pathologies. The pathologies you may encounter concern thyroid diseases (hyperthyroidism, hypothyroidism, nodules, goitre or cancer), pituitary diseases (adenoma, pituitary insufficiency, diabetes insipidus) and adrenal diseases (Cushing's syndrome, adrenal insufficiency, tumours). They also include diseases of the ovaries and testes, such as polycystic ovary syndrome, hirsutism, gynaecomastia, hypogonadism or infertility, as well as certain genetic anomalies such as Turner and Klinefelter syndromes, menopause and gender incongruence situations. You assist the doctor in the treatment of thyroid nodules by radiofrequency and alcoholisation (treatment under ultrasound, requiring rigour, technique and asepsis). You also support individuals undergoing gender transition in their journey. You also work in the infectious diseases unit which welcomes patients living with HIV, for regular follow-up and/or long-acting treatment injections. As part of a mission of general interest and prevention, this unit is also a reference centre for the implementation of prophylactic treatments against HIV (PrEP, PEP). It has an anonymous STI screening centre where prevention messages and sexual health advice are provided. This activity will complement the endocrinology activity, at a rate of one day per week. You understand and respect the different protocols for dynamic tests to ensure reliability for diagnosing various pathologies. You are able to adapt to versatile work. You have skills in therapeutic education, conducting workshops on adrenal insufficiency, and teaching technical skills (injections) that patients will need to manage at home. You are motivated to acquire the specific knowledge inherent to the pathologies encountered in the service, in order to guarantee optimal patient care.
