This department provides care for patients both electively and in emergencies. The Maxillofacial and Oral Surgery Service provides care for patients with cranio-maxillofacial trauma referred to the HUG from either the cantonal territory or neighbouring regions. In your role, you are autonomous in performing oral and stomatology examinations as well as scaling, polishing, curettage, gingival surfacing, and taking impressions for the fabrication of fluoride trays. You establish treatment plans with the dentist, patients, and provide preventive advice. You ensure dental follow-up for ENT and hospitalised patients throughout their hospital stay.
