The Personnel Office of the Canton of Zurich is responsible for all personnel, labour and social insurance law matters of the over 30,000 employees of the Canton of Zurich. The Human Resources Management (HRM) department includes a large number of tasks and is part of the Personnel Office. HR consulting, vocational training, employer branding and case management are the focus of the work. Our team – your new challenge? We are the HR Consulting team of the Finance Directorate: seven HR Business Partners and four recruiters. Together we support managers and employees throughout the entire HR life cycle. The HR Business Partners take on comprehensive advice and support, while the recruiting team professionally accompanies the recruitment process and supports all questions of personnel acquisition. We work with diverse stakeholders and actively shape the further development of our HR processes. To strengthen our team, we are looking for an experienced personality who advises managers on an equal footing, takes responsibility and feels comfortable in a versatile and dynamic environment. How can you contribute? - Advising managers: You are the first point of contact for managers in your area of responsibility and competently advise them on all HR topics along the entire HR life cycle – from personnel planning and salary determination to labour law issues and demanding change and leadership situations. - Case management and recruitment: In addition to your advisory role, you take on the clarification of complex personnel cases and work closely with the internal case management. You independently accompany recruitments for selected, demanding positions in cooperation with the recruiting team. - Rethinking HR: You actively contribute to the further development of our HR processes, participate in projects and help shape the HR future of the cantonal administration with your expertise. Who are you? - Professional competence and experience: You have further training in HR, at least at the level of an HR specialist certificate, and bring several years of experience as an HR Business Partner. You have already worked in complex organisations in your professional life and move confidently in an environment with different stakeholders and clear legal and organisational frameworks. - Personality with profile: Staying calm, creating clarity and finding solutions – that is your strength. You trust your abilities, act independently and responsibly and have a good sense of collaboration. - Heart and humour: With passion for HR management, empathy and a good dose of humour, you enrich our team. What do we offer you? - Scope for design: With us, you can expect a professional HR environment with clear structures, exciting stakeholders and scope for design. You have the opportunity to actively shape processes in the cantonal administration and take on responsibility. - Work-life balance: Flexible working hours, home office options and fair remuneration are a matter of course for us. - Optimal conditions: Your new workplace is within walking distance of Altstetten station. If necessary, you will also be deployed at other locations in the city of Zurich. Have we aroused your interest? Then apply now. We look forward to getting to know you.
