Job Description Join our team as Hotel Manager and become one of the key players in our story. At The Woodward, you will hold the position of right-hand to this urban haven, responsible for ensuring the smooth running of daily operations, with particular attention and responsibility for the Food & Beverage department. You will demonstrate leadership and support the team in fulfilling our mission to be the most beloved manager, as well as our vision to "ENRICH" lives; you will sit on the Executive Committee. Lead and inspire the team to promote excellence, our core competency, to drive profitability. Foster a rewarding culture within the hotel’s operational services, focusing on the Food & Beverage department. The Hotel Manager is responsible for implementing and overseeing all dining room operations, points of sale, and consumption areas of the establishment. Work closely with the Executive Chef to steer the development of Food & Beverage operations. Develop managers to improve their knowledge and skills. Play a leading role in building a strong and committed team. Collaborate with other members of the Executive Committee, department heads, and corporate leaders to promote positive and constructive communication as well as cross-functional cooperation. Create the "Soul of the place" for our team and guests. Promote our "Auberge" service standards so that our establishment becomes the most appreciated. Implement programmes to maintain our establishment and rooms at an exceptional and refined level. Actively and creatively improve operating standards and the establishment’s products. Play an active role in guest relations and take the initiative to contact them; be responsible for resolving customer service issues and meeting guests during their stay. Be a key player in maintaining relationships with loyal customers. Contribute to problem resolution within the team and with guests in a continuous excellence approach. Prepare and implement budgetary and financial analysis for rooms and related areas. Corporate culture and employee journey Participate in administrative tasks related to recruitment, scheduling, training, discipline, documentation, and staff support within the department. Encourage the development of all managers and employees to train the company’s future leaders. Qualifications 3 years of experience in a similar position, in a luxury environment, with increasing leadership responsibilities. Excellent oral and written communication skills in English. Ability to coach management staff to build a cohesive team. Strong business and financial acumen. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Mastery of expense and labour cost management. Experience in conducting interviews, selection, and disciplinary procedures. Experience in delivering training and presentations. Strong computer skills. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
