Since 2020, we successfully rent vacation apartments in Appenzell. Join our friendly team and enjoy a dynamic work environment. Tasks Maintain cleanliness in stairwells and entrance areas weekly. Prepare apartments for new guests between check-out and check-in. Ensure a welcoming atmosphere for holiday guests in each unit. Skills Flexibility and professional knowledge are essential. Strong communication skills via email and phone. Reliability and organizational talent are a must. Since 2020, we have been successfully renting holiday apartments at Blattenheimatstrasse to national and international holiday guests. We are a dynamic and solution-oriented team. We started with one apartment, and now there are several more offered on various platforms. We love showing our holiday guests the beautiful Alpstein and, of course, Appenzell, and enabling a relaxing break in our apartments. Our team is very flexible, guest-oriented, reliable, positive and friendly. We are looking for you as a part-time employee for caretaking tasks around the house, stairwell, entrance and cellar area on a weekly basis and as assistance during the summer months for preparing the holiday apartments for new guests. The workload for the holiday apartments depends on the bookings received. Our guests leave the apartments at around 09:30 and the new holiday guests arrive at around 15:00; during this interval the holiday apartments are refreshed for the new guests. Caretaking tasks: - Cleaning the stairwell - Cleaning the entrance area by the cellar and the main entrance - Cleaning around the house Your tasks: Preparation for the new guests: - Washing and freshly making up the laundry (non-iron) for the new guests - Briefly vacuuming the entire apartment (spot cleaning) - Damp mopping the floors (new floors with special cleaning agent) - Cleaning the bathroom including the toilet - Preparing the kitchen again for the new guests - Basically, spot cleaning each apartment so that it looks inviting and cosy for new holiday guests. What you should bring: - Flexibility - Professional expertise and conduct - Guest-oriented approach - Team-oriented - Cleanliness and creating a pleasant environment are important to you - Reliability, independence, initiative, organisational talent and resilience - Good communication (email/WhatsApp, possibly also telephone)
