Küsnacht am Zürichsee offers a vibrant community near Zurich. Join us for a fulfilling role! Tasks Lead a kindergarten group with a diverse team of staff. Support children's social and emotional growth collaboratively. Engage with parents and local educational teams. Skills Must have a relevant educational background and experience. The Küsnacht school offers lunch, day, and holiday care for around 1,000 children from 1st kindergarten to 6th primary class in four school-complementary care facilities (KICK). The children are cared for during non-teaching times and school holidays. Learning succeeds best where people grow together. In Küsnacht, we accompany children and young people with attitude, trust, and modern pedagogy. In the care facility KICK Heslibach, around 130 children with different social and cultural backgrounds are cared for. To support the care team, we are looking for a Group Leader 72% Your tasks Your working hours are: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and either Wednesday or Friday from 09:30 to 18:00. Additionally, participation in holiday care for two weeks per year Pedagogical and organisational leadership of a kindergarten group Promotion of children in the social and emotional area in close cooperation with the care team Management of a multi-person care team of 6 employees Collaboration with parents, school team, and the municipality What you bring You have completed training as a social pedagogue, FaBe childcare worker, or a pedagogical qualification, or have a Swiss diploma recognition for a comparable foreign diploma Professional experience in caring for groups of children in kindergarten and primary school age and already experience as a group leader Positive view of people, quality awareness, teamwork, resilience, and independence Very good oral and written German skills (minimum C1); English skills are an advantage Ideally, a qualification as a vocational trainer What we can offer you A varied and demanding area of responsibility in a multicultural environment within a long-standing, committed, and motivated team Modern premises and a creative working environment Attractive employment conditions and own pension fund with an above-average employer contribution 5 weeks’ holiday, 6 weeks from the age of 50 Discounts for public transport as well as on two external benefits platforms A centrally located workplace, just a few minutes from the station Would you like to learn more about this exciting position?
